- Is the heart of our "Aboriginal Math Connections" component
- Consists of a Trickster Story and related math problems
- Answers to these math problems are included
- Is constructed to clearly present information
- This is an example of how this lesson can be presented to students
- Step1-we present an original Trickster story and show how the math is done
- Step 2-we present a graph and a story, and ask the students what part of the story the graph could be showing
- Step 3-we ask the students to create a story and a graph on their own (main project)
- The first 2 steps must be demonstrated to the students before they begin their project

- These are instructions for the students, for the main project. The assessment rubric should be handed out to the students with their instructions.
- These are a collection of associated websites that can be helpful resources.
- This is the criteria on how this project will be assessed. Rubric must be given to the students, along with instructions, before beginning.
